Regina is a great place to visit, no matter what season, but spring is especially great as the city once again becomes the green city. Wascana Centre, a 2400 acre urban park in the heart of Regina, is a great place to visit in the spring. With walking and bike paths, playgrounds, BBQ sites and more it’s easy to spend a day in the park.

Regina has a host of family friendly attractions including The Saskatchewan Science Centre, MacKenzie Art Gallery, and Royal Saskatchewan Museum. This spring, Regina’s landscape will see a new addition with the RCMP Heritage Centre, which opens the end of May. The Heritage Centre built on the historic RCMP Training Academy Grounds, represents the proud history and dynamic future of the force. The Heritage Centre tells the story of the Mounties through interactive display and multi-media technology.

Spring is event-full in Regina with a series of events from street festivals, to food and wine fairs. IPSCO Place hosts a number of events all year around including concerts with some of the top headliners to extreme sports. The Conexus Arts Centre plays host to a number of cultural performances, including being the home of the Regina Symphony Orchestra.
